Vodafone increased STD rates without telling their subscribers.

After a long hefty advertising of lowest STD rates of Rs.1.30/Min, vodafone bumped it up to Rs.1.50/Min (same as other major competetors). Interesting part in this change is that, many people are still enjoying the lowest rate without knowing that 20p more are flying off their pocket every minute while they are busy talking long distance. YESS!! vodafone didn’t even think of intimating their costumers of this tariff change. We all know that its written in their Terms and Conditions that rates may be changed withoit notice. But I think a company this big should show some courtesy of intimate their subscribers about the tarrif change. Especially, after a long advertising campaign of lowest rate.
